TECHNICAL EXHIBITION

An invitation is extended to your Company/Organisation to participate as an Exhibitor at the 42nd Australian Surveyors Congress.

The theme of the Congress, 2001 - A Spatial Odyssey, is based on an Odyssey into the New Millenium for the spatial information sciences and will focus on encouraging innovation and change in the spatial information sciences in 2001, the Centenary of Federation.

The Technical Exhibition will be held on the plaza level of the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre and will be an integral part of the congress. This will allow international and national companies and independent consultants to display their products and expertise and talk directly with the delegates. All morning and afternoon teas and lunches will be served in the Technical Exhibition area.

Trade Exhibition

One complimentary booth in the Exhibition Area (standard 3m x 3m stand) The stand price includes 3 metre high velcro compatible wall panelling, as well as:

  • 1 x Fascia Sign with Company Name
  • 2 x 150 watt spot lights
  • 1 x 4 amp power point

If your company prefers an open display, sidewalls can be removed. Please indicate on the Exhibition Booking Form if you do not require sidewalls. The cost of the stand does not change by removing the sidewalls.

Congress Registration

Complimentary Congress registration for one company representative.

Catering Packages

Catering packages can be purchased in advance for additional exhibition staff. Catering packages include morning and afternoon teas, lunches and Welcome Reception. Please indicate on the Exhibition Booking Form if catering is required. Cost: AU$150.00 per person.

Exhibition Acknowledgment

Organisation/company acknowledgment of Exhibition status at official opening session.

Exhibition / Conference Integration

The Congress program has been designed to provide as much time as possible for exhibitors and delegates to mix at morning / afternoon tea and lunch breaks. To maximise exposure, these food breaks will be held in the Exhibition Area.

Satchels

  • One Congress satchel will be provided for each exhibiting company.
  • Insertion of company promotional literature into Congress satchels (up to two single sheet A4 size brochures, or one 4-page folded leaflet)
  • Congress Souvenirs such as coffee mugs, caps, pens etc provided by your company for inclusion in each delegates satchel.

  • Company logo display on Congress Printed Proceedings
  • One half-page advertisement in the Congress Proceedings
  • Website reference and link to your company/organisation's website

CONTRACT INFORMATION

Payment

To apply for exhibition space at 42nd Australian Surveyors Congress, complete the application form and return it together with your full payment.

Space will not be assigned without a signed application and full payment.

Stands will be allocated as per the date of receipt of deposits with booking forms. We will endeavour to meet the preferred space requests but reserve the right to adjust space allocations in the interest of presenting a professional exhibition.

The organisers reserve the right to decline any application at their discretion.

All payments must be made in Australian Dollars. Payment in any other currency will not be accepted. Cheques and Bank Drafts should be made payable to Surveyors 2001 Congress. Payments can also be made by credit card (Visa, Bankcard, MasterCard, American Express or Diners) to the limit of AUD $3,000.00.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be advised in writing (fax, e-mail or post). Refunds will depend on date cancellation is effected and whether the space can be resold. The committee reserves the right to hold any payments made and to review the refund situation after the event.

Duration of Event

Exhibitors are requested to maintain their stands until 4.00pm on Thursday 27 September. Exhibition stands will be dismantled and removed after 5.30pm on Thursday 27 September 2001.
